If you’re planning a Wales Road Trip or a Wales Holiday in 2023, I have you covered with this Top 10 Must See Places blog post! Wales is an incredible country and 2023 is the year to visit it. From vast mountain landscapes to epic sandy beaches, Wales really has something for everyone. Below I’ve listed my top 10 places that you MUST SEE! If you prefer to watch my YouTube video then please click the link here or watch below. Don’t forget, my new ‘Road Trip Wales Guide Book’ provides a full overview of this incredible destination.

A must see seaside location in Mid-Wales surrounded by lots of activities and natural beauty. This university town has lots of independent shops, bars and restaurants. Aberystwyth is great for a day out or weekend away. Don’t forget to stop for Fish & Chips at the pier, you won’t regret it!

Outstanding natural beauty in this national park! Home to Pen-y-Fan, South Wales’ largest mountain which doesn’t require a ridiculously high level of fitness to walk! The Brecon Beacons is a top place for outdoor activities and there are a couple of famous mountain passes you can enjoy from the comfort of your own vehicle.

So, what exactly is Abereiddy’s Blue Lagoon? It’s a former slate quarry that was abandoned and flooded which now makes for a stunning location ideal for coasteering, kayaking and taking a plunge into the deep turquoise blue water. There are great views around the clifftop, the Blue Lagoon has a wheelchair friendly path and the Abereiddy beach at which you’ll park is also pleasant and dog friendly.

An incredible location – complete must see in Pembrokeshire.

The UK’s smallest city! A charming must see city with a quaint Cathedral.

North Wales most pristine national park.

One of my favourite places in Wales, I always describe Anglesey as a mini Wales!

A picturesque Welsh seaside town, a must see if you’re in Pembrokeshire.
One of the UK’s best beaches, this secret bay requires a 15 minute walk from Stackpole Quay.

My favourite beach in the whole of Wales! This honestly has to be seen to be believed.
